Welcome to the Independent Baptist Tabernacle Church, where love, community, and faith come together. We are a church family dedicated to following the teachings of Jesus Christ, serving each other and our neighbors with compassion. Whether you are new to the faith, or have been a believer for many years, there’s a place for you here.
Our History and Mission
In 1973, Ralph Carver was inspired by God to organize the Independent Baptist Tabernacle Church. He pastored and cared for the congregation and the surrounding community faithfully for 46 years. In 2021, Brother Brian Spargo accepted the Pastoral leadership for the church and in 2022, Brother Drew Lynch joined the fellowship as the Associate Pastor. These men of God remain faithful to church’s original mission: To love God, love others, and make disciples. We believe in living out the Gospel in every aspect of our lives, seeking to be a light in the world and a source of hope for all who walk through our doors. And those doors are open to everyone, regardless of where you are in your life.
What We Believe
We are rooted in the foundational truths of Christianity. We believe in one God, revealed in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit to transform lives. Our church is committed to sharing the love of Christ and making a positive difference in the world.

Our Community
At the heart of our church there is a strong sense of community. We believe that church is not just about Sunday services, it’s about walking alongside each other in life. We gather for fellowship, service projects, prayer groups, and small group studies. We are a family, supporting one another through life's challenges and celebrating life’s joys together.
